Ankle and Foot pain

Are you suffering with pain in your Calf / Achilles, Ankle or Foot?
Let us help get it sorted here at The Physio & Sports Injury Clinic in Rhos on Sea, without the need for lots of medication, injections or even surgery!

Each foot is very complex, with 26 small bones & 33 joints in each foot, never mind all the many tendons and ligaments too. Everything needs to function together to enable your to stand and walk (all without you even thinking!)

Statistics sadly show us that as many as 40% of people who sprain their ankle, will go on to develop hip, knee or back pain within 2 years of an ankle injury! So making sure an ankle is back to normal and functioning again after injury is very important for your health and wellbeing long term.

From the classic Twisted Ankle, Achilles tendons, Flat feet/fallen foot arches, right through to Plantar Fasciitis (pain along the sole of the foot/heel) - we treat it all.

Does This Sound Like You?

  • You keep ignoring the pain/swelling/bruising in the hope that it will just all go away.

  • The more you walk on your foot, the worse it seems to get.

  • Your friends and family tell you to rest.

  • The GP gives you painkillers, which you know only masks the problem.

  • You try self-diagnosing the problem on Google, which worries you more.

  • Maybe you’ve been let down by the NHS or a podiatrist?

CAN YOU RELATE?

The good news is it doesn't have to be this way… Most Calf, Ankle and Foot problems can easily be treated with a course of Physiotherapy. Therefore the quicker you seek professional Physio help after an injury, the faster you will get better!

If you are suffering in pain and don’t know what to do, we would love to help by inviting you to get in touch and speak directly with our Physiotherapist - Oliver. He will speak with you for FREE to see what can be done to help your Ankle or Foot & give you some helpful advice straight away.
