Our Gait sessions:

Injury Gait Analysis: (30mins)

This is the entry-level solution is suitable for anyone who just wants to get back to running safely again after an injury without their problem reoccurring!

NB: To complete an injury gait analysis you will need to be able to run comfortably on a treadmill for 3-5 minutes. If you are unable to do so (don’t worry), just start off with a Sports Physiotherapy Consultation first, and we can do some Gait Analysis at a later date, when appropriate.

Common injuries we see include: Knee pain, Shin splints, Lower back pain, Calf strains & Achilles tendon problems, Plantar Fasciitis, and foot Stress fractures.

Technique Gait Analysis: (1hr)

Our Technique Analysis is a great option for runners who want to improve their Running efficiency, Speed &/or Endurance. It is our Most Popular option!

The session takes an hour to complete and we start by recording HD footage of you running on a treadmill, to analyse your form and technique. We will also review your footwear (& any insoles), along with any training plan data you have. You will leave the session with some simple and immediate advice to improve your running form. A re-evaluation is recommended in about 6-8 weeks to see what has improved. Research suggests that improving your running form can help prevent injury and improve your results!

Things we look out for: Running style, Stride mechanics, Landing impact, Torso position, Step-rate, Shoe/insole wearing patterns and Training plan anomalies.

Performance Gait Analysis: (up to 2hrs)

Our Performance Analysis is the Ultimate Package for any Runner or Triathlete who wants the Complete Solution for both Training and Physical Performance.

We combine all the features of our Technique Video Analysis above, plus carry out a full Sports Physio Consultation as well. We will carry out a full-body screening and assess movement, flexibility and overall strength to create you a specific Strength and Conditioning programme to work on, alongside any specific running adjustments we find from the HD video footage. A detailed plan will be emailed to you after the session.
