Meet our Owner
In todays blog we would like to introduce you to our Clinic Owner - Oliver, to find out a little more about him, all about his expertise and what he likes to do when he isn’t working at Physio & Sports Injury Clinic!
As a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist - Oliver is committed to delivering the very best healthcare to the local community of North Wales. This is why Oliver is known as the ‘GO-TO’ Physio in the North Wales area!
Interestingly, Oliver fell into the profession of Physiotherapy by chance. At the age of 15 he suffered with an injury to his arm which required a period of physio to get it better. From that moment on when he made full recovery he knew exactly what he wanted to become 1 day. The rest is then history - as they say!!
After qualifying as a Chartered Physiotherapist from Brunel University in London, Oliver gained a wealth of experience in the NHS over a 3-year period in a multitude of settings, giving him the best education possible. Oliver made the decision to move & relocate up to North Wales to be closer to family and joined the team at The Physio & Sports Injury Clinic here in Rhos on Sea. After 6 years in the role as an associate, in 2018 he took the reigns & become the Clinic Owner and Lead Physiotherapist, & he’s not looked back since.
Oliver is able to treat a wide array of injuries - from headaches/migraines, joint aches & pains, soft tissues strains & tears (to muscles, tendons, ligaments), trapped nerves, general stiffness/tightness & a lack of flexibility or Strength. You name it he can help! If you’re suffering with an injury then don’t delay, get in touch with Oliver -HERE-
We are delighted to say that The Physio & Sports Injury Clinic is going from strength to strength under Oliver’s leadership, as he continues to help hundreds of people from the North Wales community live more Active and Healthy Lifestyles without the need for taking medications or needing surgery. We have some great plans for the clinic over the next few years (with the introduction of more amazing treatments) and hope to reach even more people who need our help. So watch this space!
Aside from running a very successful Physio Clinic, Oliver is passionate about giving something back to his local community. Not many people know this but Oliver is actually a volunteer for St John Ambulance Cymru. He is one of the charities senior First Aid Trainers for the area and gives up his free time each week to teach local people an array of first aid courses, and also through the charity supports many local events in the area (including sports games & races) to keep everyone fit, safe and well.
